How do I do a patch test?Updated a year ago
A patch test will allow you to see how your skin reacts to new ingredients before fully introducing them to your routine.
For skin or haircare products, apply a small amount to the side of your jaw or neck.
For essential oils, dilute with a carrier oil (ex: 1 drop mixed with 1 pump of castor oil) and test on your inner forearm. Wait 24-48 hours for any adverse reactions to new ingredients.
Discontinue product use if redness, inflammation, or irritation occurs. Reach out to us here with any questions or concerns.
